By artist Jeffrey Allen Price

Beginning Sunday, August 3
at the Mills Pond House Gallery

Featuring the "Long Island Harvest" and "Potato House". Long Island Harvest will display works by local LI artists that reflects aspects of farming  on the Island. "Potato House"" is an entirely potato-themed exhibition (an interactive installation by artist/project curator Jeffrey Allen Price) including installations of potato sculptures, drawings, paintings, collectibles and ephemera.

The Mills Pond House will be transformed into POTATO HOUSE - an artistic, educational, entertaining and interactive exhibition. It's a potato themed project that "grows" just like a potato plant. In fact, the project includes a real potato garden growing on the grounds of the house.

POTATO HOUSE is the brainchild of Jeffrey Allen Price, who has been creating potato-themed sculptures and events since 1996 when he held the 1st Annual "Think Potato" Festival in his own backyard in Springfield, Missouri. Since that time, Price has hosted several large scale Potato Events (dedicated to family, fun, art and charity, and of course the potato), and has assembled a unique collection of potato-related collectibles of all kinds, ranging from historical items such as prints, books, and tools to novelty driven items like toys, games, and clothes. Price was recently highlighted on the Food Network's Spud's Unwrapped Show as the "Potato Artist" which featured his potato art and his collection.
